Well actually it’s not fall YET but it sure feels like it is. The temps in Dallas today were AWESOME!!! I was able to mow my yard mid day and it was just so nice outside.
As I’ve said other times especially this past July and August, I’m not a hot weather person at all. I feel very smothered in the heat. But this kind of weather we’re having is just the best. I love to have my back door open in the evenings and at night until I go to bed. The cool, fresh, crisp air is such a delight.
Also I heard on the weather forcast tonight that Hurricane Ike is eyeing the Gulf of Mexico and suspected and forecasted to be another bugger of a storm. I know the coastal cities of the Carolinas are getting hammered from Hurricane Hannah.
What type of weather are you having in your area?

So many people are losing their jobs these days and it’s making it very difficult for some people to feed and cloth their families.
With the price of food, clothing and gas increasing daily so many people have used up all their savings, if they even had any, just to make ends meet. When that is used up, many have had to rely on an Unsecured Personal Loan just to handle the basics.
One of the reasons they use this service is because it’s quick, easy and all types of credit are accepted. They can apply and within just minutes they have the money they need for their emergencies.

Before I answer my phone, I always check the caller ID to see who’s calling. In the evenings when I return home I also check the caller ID to see who has called. Most of the times it’s marketing calls because I don’t recognize any of the numbers. When I see a number that has called often I always wonder where the call is coming from.
There is a convenient service that provides that information for me. Callerbase.com provides the city, state and other information all for free. Just today I received several phone calls and I took the number, entered it in the search box and found where the call originated. Then I had an idea who it was.
Check them out as they can give you the same type of information they provided for me.

What awesome weather we have had in Dallas these last 2 days. The cooler temps have been the result of the remnants of hurricane Gustav. We haven’t had any major rain, just sprinkles here and there but the wind has been blowing constantly. Today the high was 77F and tonight I have my back patio door open which has provided a much needed cool breeze.
I am so looking forward to Fall and Winter!!!

Last Friday I took my car to my local auto mechanic for some maintenance issues. It wasn’t driving as smooth as it should and I just had a tune up.
Several customers came in while I was waiting. All of them had air conditioning problems and they are miserable with our Texas summer heat.
One lady needed a Ford ac compressor but she had to postpone the repairs because she couldn’t afford the expense. Too bad she didn’t know about discountacparts.com as I think she could have purchased a very reasonably priced a/c part and had her repairs done a lot cheaper.

The real estate market in most cities is taking a beating. Some cities are worse than others. I know it appears the Dallas Fort Worth area is really in a slump but after reading numerous articles I’m finding that there are other cities that are worse.
One of the areas that’s not having too many problems is the Chicago, Illinois area. It appears that the chicago realtors are surviving the housing slump.
So if you live in that area or will be moving there soon it might be to your advantage to check out Realtors of the Chicago area.

Hurricane Gustav is predicted to kick some serious butt on the coastal areas of Gulf of Mexico this weekend and early next wee. The Dallas-Fort Worth area has begun making preparation for evacuees and many have already arrived at various locations in the metroplex.
The weather forecasters are predicting that East Texas will get lots of the rain once it makes landfall and moves inland but most of the damage will be in Louisiana with Alabama and Florida getting hit as well. Poor Cuba has already been hit hard and many tragedies have already occurred in the Caribbean.
I sure hope the Dallas area gets some of the rain. In order for us to get rain, it’s awful that we have to hope for remnants of a hurricane to get the rain.

My Labor Day plans fell through and I didn’t get to visit my family in Arkansas. My brother called last night to ask that I plan another weekend visit. Due to his very serious medical condition the doctors have required that he have very limited visitors. And since I was planning to spend most of my time in his room, I’ve decided to go another weekend when he is much stronger.
I was very disappointed but want him well and I would rather sacrifice a long weekend for me for a longer life for him.
So today I spent most of the day having some car repairs done. And the remainder of the weekend I have many other things planned including blogging and dropping entrecards.

I would like to wish each one of you who read or drop a card on my blog a very Happy and Safe Labor Day. I will be traveling to Little Rock, Arkansas to spend Labor Day with my very sick brother and his family. Thanks for all of your prayers. He has good days and bad days and God continues to heal him a tiny bit each day. My dream is that he is completely healed.

If you were were at a customer service area of a store, there’s no one around except the customer service clerks behind the counter busy talking to each other, and there’s a $10 bill folded and laying on the floor what would you do?
